Lorenzo Murzilli

CEO at Murzilli Consulting
Lorenzo is a graduated aerospace engineer, innovation manager and a specialist in aviation, system safety and drones. He is the founder & CEO of Murzilli Consulting, a digital consulting agency focused on aviation.

He was also the leader of the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems WG-6 from 2015 until December 2022 where he oversaw the work of more than 100 professionals in several task forces developing recommendations for the safety and risk management of drone operations worldwide.

Guest lecturer at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the Xihua University, previously with Leonardo, Pilatus Aircraft and the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation, Lorenzo has developed a striking ability to boost innovation in safety-critical environments and enjoys exploring the intersection of safety and disruptive technologies.

Yves Morier

Retired Principal Advisor at EASA and DGAC
Yves Morier graduated from the French Civil Aviation Academy (ENAC) as an Air Transport Engineer in 1978. After Military Service, joined in 1979 a DGAC (French CAA) local office in Normandy and in 1986 a Central Office in Paris where he worked on airworthiness codes and implemented the safety research program.

In 1991, joined the Joint Aviation Authorities as Regulation Director. In 2004, joined EASA where he occupied various posts as head of the department and in the last three years as Principal Advisor for new technologies.

He retired in 2019 and is married with 3 daughters and a grandson.

Lluís Amat

UAS Regulatory Compliance
Lluís graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) as Aeronautic Engineer (MSc) in 2016.

After some years of experience in the continuing airworthiness sector in CAMO and Maintenance Organisations in general aviation, he joined the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (AESA) as Airworthiness Inspector in 2019.

In AESA, he developed a thorough understanding of the airworthiness regulatory framework and, in 2021, he moved temporarily to its UAS Division, where he was introduced to unmanned aviation and its constantly evolving regulatory framework.

In 2022, he joined BCN Drone Center in its Legal Department, where he is in charge of the UAS regulatory compliance of the company and of the request of operational authorisations in the Specific Category.
